竖梁社在改造中所用的改造策略就是“开放”,将沿街的临时建筑进行拆建,减少沿街建筑的长度,提供更多的开放展示面,让人可以看到并容易进入园区。将U型建筑围绕出的空间改造成为一个硬地为主的庭院,成为一创社的核心,这个庭院比较靠里面,按照传统商业布局庭院首层是没法做商业的,但这样会导致庭院没有活力。所以建筑师和业主一同做了一个实验,把内向庭院首层一圈吸引特色轻餐饮、儿童教育等业态,这样的设定,使得庭院活跃起来,很多人愿意待在庭院中。开放的街区使得周边疍民的后代感受到改造带来的变化,原来冷冰冰的厂房和空间变成他们可以进入的地方,社区居民经常带了小孩子来到这里,在开放街区中玩耍嬉戏。园区没有所谓“边界”,没有大门,24小时完全对社区开放。

Therefore, the architect and the owner did an experiment together to attract the characteristics of light food catering and children's education in the first floor of the inward courtyard. This setting made the courtyard active and many people were willing to stay in the courtyard. The open neighborhoods have made the descendants of the surrounding people feel the changes brought about by the renovation. The cold buildings and spaces have become places where they can enter. Community residents often bring children to play here and play in the open blocks. There is no such thing as a “border” in the park. There is no gate and it is completely open to the community for 24 hours.
